Submitting Photographs to the 376th Veterans Association Website

You have a few options to submit photographs for pulication on this site.  These are in the order of providing the best quality images for our website--

1.) If you dont mind mailing the photos to me, I would be glad to scan them and make sure that they are returned safely to you. Colleen and I have operated a small photo studio from our home in the past specializing in copying and restoration of photographs.  I assure you that the photos would be very safe in my care and would be promptly returned.

2.) I understand that most people are hesitant to send original photographs. If you know someone with a scanner or you have one yourself, you can scan the images and send them attached to email. A .jpg format would be best but any photo format such as .bmp, .tif, .pcx would be fine. I can provide more information about image size and resolution if you decide to send them this way.

3.) If you dont have access to a scanner, the photos could be reproduced at a local photo studio. This would be the most expensive option , but you could also have other copies made at the same time to provide to other crew members or interested family members. I will also return the reproduction photos once I have scanned them.

4.) If your budget won't allow to have the images reproduced at a photo studio, A compromise would be to bring the images to a Copy Center such as KINKOS Copy Centers and have them make a color photocopy. All in one printers (printer/fax/scanner/copier) are fairly common these days and can also be used to make color photocopies. It must be a color photocopy and not just a standard black and white photocopy. The color copy provides enough detail to produce an acceptable scanned image. It will cost about $1.00 or so to have a copy of this type made, but considerably less than having it reproduced at a photo studio. Please make sure that you dont wrinkle or fold the copies though! They can be mailed in a manilla envelope with some cardboard to protect them.

More details can be provided on any method listed. I look forward to seeing your photos!!
